ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Photograph shot on hasselblad analog camera. ‘I like to work with analog cameras, It feels more realistic, today it is not obvious to see real images, everything is manipulated and photoshopped. I like to see real people with their imperfections, which is more interesting! I put the human as a piece of nature or an object in my picture. It’s a reaction on a lot of fashion photography in which the personality anyway is not important. And it is precisely therefore that I want to let the authenticity of the body speak for itself, an over manipulated body gives us a wrong perception of reality.'
