ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This series of photographs aims to dislocate and re-contextualize mundane settings. They are evidence of a world made up of too-familiar symbols and decrepit surfaces. The traces of forlornness that pervades them seeps out of the feeling of estrangement Freilich experienced as she captured these scenes of loneliness.
